My training as an ADD coach and my teaching background gives me the unique ability to provide tools for you, an ambitious person, to overcome struggles that hold you back from achieving your goals. Whether you have been diagnosed with ADD or not, as an ADD coach I am equipped to help you overcome disorganization, procrastination, indecisiveness, forgetfulness, chronic lateness, moodiness, inconsistency and feelings of being overwhelmed.
A New Approach
ADD coaching is a relatively new approach for the treatment of ADD, but it has been proven as one of the best ways to help people with ADD improve their life. Coaching will help you achieve a creative breakthrough towards reaching your ultimate goal. You will develop strategies to overcome the challenges of everyday life so you can concentrate on realizing your potential. These strategies will be based upon your core values that are your source of true power in driving and sustaining you.

Through coaching, you will recognize self-imposed obstacles that inhibit dealing with things you dislike doing, that bore you and that distract you. These behaviors make it difficult to live and operate in a world designed for people without ADD.
Ask yourself these questions. If you answer "yes" to any of them, you need coaching.
Do you feel deep down that you are capable of so much more than what you have been achieving?
Do find that you can not get started on the path to realizing your goals and dreams?
Do you have lots of great ideas, but rarely get them off the ground?
Do you have problems getting organized?
Do you struggle with everyday life, organizing your time, missing appointments and meetings?
Do you have difficulty communicating with others and often feel misunderstood?
Do you trouble focusing on what needs to be done and are easily distracted?
Do you find it difficult to find balance between the multiple demands of you personal and professional life? Coaching with ADD clients work with them to understand ADD and learn how to deal with everyday challenges.
Identifying strengths and weaknesses.
Learning time managment.
Leaning organizational skills.
Modify behavior towards success.
What is Behavior Therapy or Behavior Modification?
The ADD coach creates a program that modifies and changes unwanted behavior by means of awareness, reinforcement and conditioning.
An ADD Modification Program includes the following steps:
Understanding ADD, recognizing weaknesses and how it affects the client's life, such as,
Distractibilty, Concentration, Restlessness, Impatience, Impulsiveness, Hyperactivity,
Disorganization and Difficulty following rules.
Recognizing and Identifing strengths, abilities, attributes and the gifts of ADD, such as,
Creativity, Empathy, Leadership skills, High intelligence, Special talents (art, music, science),
Intuitiveness, Talents for entertaining, High motivation and Intense focus in areas of interest.
The goal is to both strengthen ADD gifts and modify unwanted behavior.
Once the strengths and weaknesses have been identified the following issues are assessed:
Which behaviors are desired?
Are these behaviors observable and measured?
What reinforces these behaviors?
When are the reinforcements applied?
What are the consequences?
How can a reinforcement pattern be improved?
Based on the answers to the above questions, a behavior modification program includes the following steps:
Targeting specific behaviors:
Analyzing causes of existing behaviors or barriers to new behavior
Setting explicit goals (concrete measurable goals)
Learning to change thought patterns and behaviors
