Theodore Herzl's vision: If there's a will, there's a way |
Working at the leading edge of the new profession of coaching, I empower people to meet transitions in their lives with renewed energy. I guide olim in identifying and clarifying their goals and purposes. Through the process of coaching, I offer them tools for developing a plan of action for realizing a meaningful future. I encourage olim I coach to explore creative ways to realize their potential in achieving success and fulfillment in Israel.
As an olah born in New York who made aliyah 25 years ago and has successfully been through this transition with my husband and children, I am skilled in listening, understanding and supporting olim during their journey. I can help olim not only cope with the big challenges in their lives but with managing the little issues of living in a different place. Coaching can aid olim in designing and organizing space in their new home and managing their time.
As an educational coach and former teacher in the Israeli school system, I can coach parents in choosing the appropriate schools for their children and helping their children succeed in their new learning environment. I can coach teenagers in navigating the complexities of Israel's schools, gaining tools for academic success, understanding the demands of the bagrut, and meeting the challenges of making new friends.
About Iyrit Alexenberg: I have been coaching individuals, couples and families, students at Bar Ilan University and Emunah College, and women in distress at Ruach Nashit to create authentic transformations in their lives toward realizing their goals. I graduated from the pioneering programs in life coaching and educational coaching at Bar Ilan University. At the Adler Institute, I studied methods for counseling parents in coping with everyday challenges of educating their children. I have many years experience in Israel as a high school teacher and a teacher of children with learning disabilities.
